Founded in 2022, One Sound North was originally formed to supply education through music recording, podcasting, and video editing only. It was not long before we began to evolve into so much more. Within 2 to 3 months, we became a haven for troubled teens in need of shelter, clothing, job opportunities, mentoring through the arts, career readiness, and Project Prepare Work Initiative.

Our workforce development programs ensure that youth from under-resourced communities are empowered with key life skills and the fundamentals to connect to significant employment or post-secondary opportunities, aligned with their interests, skills, and goals.

By taking part in our programs, our youth will find a decrease in the barriers leading to success in the workforce. One Sound North is committed to aiding in increasing their confidence in their professional identity, self-worth, and career goals.
